Welcome to The Nest on Terraville, a charming 1940s home located directly behind the historic Round House in Lead, South Dakota. The Nest offers the character and atmosphere of an older Black Hills home while putting you close to everything the Lead and Deadwood area has to offer. Spend your days exploring nearby historic sites, enjoying local restaurants and shops, or heading into the Black Hills for hiking, sightseeing, and outdoor adventures.

Location: Directly behind the Historic Roundhouse in Lead, with convenient access to Deadwood, Terry Peak Ski Resort, Pactola Lake, Sheridan Lake, and other Black Hills attractions.

Property Layout:

• The Nest consists of the main floor and upstairs of the house.
• The basement is separate and is used only by the owners when they stay at the property and as a supply room.
• The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with queen beds, a full bathroom, and a living room.
• The upstairs includes an office area, a half bathroom, and a bedroom with a king bed.
• There is a wooden deck located off the kitchen, as well as a balcony accessible from the upstairs bedroom.

-One full bathroom on the main floor with a bathtub, hot water, and hair dryer.
-One half bathroom upstairs.

Outdoor Living:
-Wooden deck off the kitchen.
-Private balcony accessible from the upstairs bedroom.
-Gas grill available for outdoor cooking.

Heating & Cooling:
-Central heating and air conditioning.
-Additional window air-conditioning unit in the upstairs bedroom for added comfort.

Parking:
-Free public street parking is available along Terraville Avenue.
-Additional marked public parking is located just east of the property.
-The two-car garage beneath the guest cottage is suitable only for motorcycles or smaller vehicles.

Other things to note

• NO TRAILER PARKING: You can request a variance from the city to park in the empty shopping center parking lot across the street or any other open public parking spaces they may have. So if your needing to bring a trailer please request this.

• This property does host a two-car garage. One side is for the main house and the other side is for The Sweet Pea. The garage can only fit a sedan or motorcycles.

• Street Parking: Please read parking restrictions when you receive your check in requests. Please let us know if you will be coming in on bikes and need garage space.

• The streets in Lead are very narrow and most homes have just street parking.

• No washer and dryer available. Nearby laundromat is available.

• A separate guest cottage is located behind the main house. Separate entrance and no shared walls.

• For dogs: We do not allow puppies (under 1 year old), German Shepherds, or Huskies.

• We do not allow cats.

• If bringing a pet, a pet fee of $75 per pet is required. Please message us to let us know, and we will send a request for the payment, or you can pay through the listing platform.

• The primary renter is required to sign the Renter's Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us.

• Propane Exchanges: We do not directly exchange propane tanks. During business hours, if our team is available, we may be able to assist with an exchange.

• Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm.

• Any request to host a small gathering that exceeds the standard occupancy limit will incur an additional $250 fee.

• All gatherings are subject to prior approval by management and must be disclosed before booking. Please note that visitors are not permitted to stay overnight
