We notified the host during our stay and nothing was done to address it, which was disappointing. We also arrived to find a moldy wooden spoon in the dishwasher — not the welcome you hope for. The host did offer to send a cleaner, which we appreciated, but that’s something that should have been caught before check-in. On the pricing front, the property is fairly expensive for what it is, and when we requested to extend our stay by two additional nights, the host would not honor the original nightly rate — which felt like a missed opportunity to take care of returning guests. Would recommend the property with the caveat that the woodpecker issue is a real and unresolved problem. Hopefully the hosts take steps to address these things before future guests" (6/5)
